The cabin is located on the lake and provides gorgeous views. There is a private dock and a boat landing within two miles. If you do not have your own boat, no worries, there is a 14 foot aluminum boat and paddle boat provided with the cabin rental, along with a fire pit (wood provided), gas grill and satellite TV. This 4 bedroom cabin sleeps 8 comfortably and a pack and play or cot is available upon request. The cabin is available for weekly rentals (Saturday to Saturday), May through October. There are only a few hundred cabins located on the entire flowage. This ensures a pristine habitat for all the wildlife in the forest. No matter what time of the year, if your interests are in a wildlife rich Wisconsin vacation, this area deserves your consideration. The wilderness of the Flowage provides a breathtaking backdrop for some of the most captivating wildlife you ever hope to see. Are you an outdoorsman? If you have a particular baking dish or small appliance that you use, check with us and we will let you know if we have it. UTILITY/LAUNDRY: There is a large utility sink and spacious counter area. Front load washing machine and dryer are available for your use. A small amount of a liquid laundry detergent is provided. This room is accessible from the hallway and access to the basement is through this room. OUTDOOR DECK: The raised deck spans the entire lake side of the home. There are 2 patio dining tables overlooking the lake for you to enjoy a meal while taking in the scenery. PORCH: The porch is surrounded by screened-in windows and has many seating arrangements with a full view of the lake. GRILL & DECK DINING: There is a brand new Weber gas grill with propane provided. The rental is the upstairs of our business building. We have a large parking lot on our property. We are located in the heart of Mercer, one block away from the main snowmobile and ATV trails. The living room bar area gives lots of room for gusts to spend time together, and still have separate bedrooms for private time.. The rate of $150.00 per night is for up to six people. This lakefront home is on a private lake meaning there is no public access, which keeps it much more peaceful and quite. The lake has about 60-70 acres of water, and neighbors have verbally agreed to not use gas outboards, so it stays quite and peaceful. We have approximately 300' of Southwest facing shoreline, a pier and several fishing boats with electric motors, canoes, and a paddle boat that are free to use. The living room has a cathedral ceiling with windows facing the lake. There is a 22' tall stone fireplace from the floor to the ceiling. The Dining room and Master bedroom also face the lake. There is a large deck overlooking the lake and the only neighbors that can be seen from the deck are across the lake. The lake has good Musky, Bass, and Northern Pike fishing, along with endless bluegills for kids can catch right from the pier. In addition to the living room mentioned there is a rec room with TV, pool table, air hockey, a basketball game and lots of other games for kids on rainy days. Almost the entire house interior is cedar or pine and the atmosphere is very lodge like. The end of our driveway directly connects to a branch of the snowmobile and ATV trail. We don't get much traffic here but it is nice to have direct trail access. Guests can walk to a small restaurant about 1/4 mile away,. It is usually open 3-4 days a week. We have a rental contract that you will need to sign and return before a rental can take place. All rental contracts must be signed and we must receive them before you pay for the rental. It is important to email us to request a contract be sent to you before you pay / book it. We need to make sure your group is of legal age and will not violate local ordinances which limit the amount of noise and the number of people that can be at a rental property. Before you pay for a rental, we will also need to discuss some basic rental rules we have in place so you will need to call us before we will allow a group to pay for, reserve or book our property. Brand new four season "A" frame cabin located on beautiful Round Lake of the Pike Lake Chain and Chequamegon National Forest. Cabin is roughly 25 miles west of Minocqua. Access to ATV (Flambeau & Tuscobia Trail) and snowmobile (Price County) trails, this newly built lakeside cabin has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and can comfortably sleep 10 people. Each bedroom is furnished with a king size memory foam mattress, nightstands, closet organizers, and bedding. Additionally, there is a queen size futon as well in the loft as well. You will need to bring our own towels and toiletries. The cabin has central A/C and gas fireplace.  The fully equipment kitchen comes with plates, glasses, silverware, pots and pans, coffeemaker (single cup and full pot), and toaster. Our new GE Profile appliances provide a gas range for air frying, convection microwave and a large french door refrigerator. The outdoor patio allows for further cooking and entertaining with a Weber gas grill, Green Egg for smoking or charcoal flavor, and a Camp Chef propane griddle/flat top grill. PLEASE NOTE...we provide propane, but charcoal for the Green Egg isn't provided. Other amenities include new washer & dryer, DirectTV (65" Smart TV), and WiFi. Take a break from the hustle and bustle by enjoying breakfast, lunch, dinner, or cocktails on a private deck overlooking beautiful Round Lake listening to the loons and keeping an eye open for foxes, deer and eagles. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the dock while you gear up to spend the day on your boat or fishing. The Pike Lake chain has five lakes (2,012 acres) with two bar/restaurants on the water with gas & bait and there are numerous sandy points for children to swim at. A slip is provided at the dock along with power to plug in boat batteries. All fish need to be cleaned in the fish house.  Don’t feel like boating; ATV/snowmobile trails, shopping, gambling, hiking, golfing, biking and other Northwoods activities are nearby. At the end of the day, sit back, kick your feet up, watch the picture-perfect sunset, roast marshmallows over the fire pit (firewood included) and relish the moment at this wonderful cabin in the woods. Partially finished basement includes bunkbeds & a full size bed as well as a pull-out sofa. Plenty of room for your group to spread out! Television on main floor and basement. Games and DVDs or grab a book and read! Miles of ATV and snowmobile trails right at the front door & lake. Ice fish to catch crappie & walleye.

This two bedroom cottage is overlooking Round Lake of the Pike Lake Chain. The view from the cottage will take your breath away! The four-lake chain has over 2,000 acres of water, offering great fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. It is located a ½ mile from the Chequamegon-Nicolet National forest, which has miles and miles of hiking and ATV trails. Minocqua is only a 20 minute drive away. The interior is all knotty pine. It has 2 bedrooms, a newly remodeled kitchen, dining area, living room with free standing gas fireplace, a new bathroom and a new screened porch with breakfast table and a large deck. It comfortably accommodates five. 14' rowboat is included with the rental. Two kayaks are stored at the cabin and are provided at no charge for our guests to enjoy. The cottage was completely renovated and expanded in 2012, featuring a new larger bathroom with new fixtures, as well as a larger living room, dining area and bedrooms. A new screen porch, new larger front windows and a new roof were also part of the 2012 addition. The kitchen was totally renovated in 2010, including new cabinets and appliances. The cabin's footprint was increased by approximately 20% in 2012. The cottage is one of nine that are part of the Wild Goose Resort. Wild Goose is neat and clean and is well-maintained. The property maintenance manager lives right down the street. The “Goose” is truly a “well-kept secret” and has been in operation for many years.
